What is a Mortgage Broker?

A mortgage broker is a middleman between the borrower (you) and the bank or mortgage lender. They keep tabs on rates from a multitude of lenders, and help get borrowers approved for a mortgage, whether it is a home purchase or a refinance. How Does a Home Purchase Work?

Once you make contact with us and we agree to work together, we will want to gather important documentation from you. Documentation such as; income, assets, employment history, W2’s, Tax Returns, and paycheck stubs. This documentation is needed in order to assess your ability to obtain financing. After you’ve submitted the requested paperwork, we can assess what works best for you. It is at this time we will make the presentation to the lender(s) for you, and as the process moves forward we are right there with you until the deal is closed.
